We would very much appreciate your participation in a Community Consultation Workshop in the Barton Neighbourhood Centre from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, February 7th.
Barton has been chosen as the pilot location of the Cities-4-People project in Oxfordshire! With the Barton community, we will be designing, creating, and piloting a solution to tackle the mobility challenges identified by you. This will involve extended community outreach and collaboration in Barton over the course of the next year. We’re excited about where the community will lead us and optimistic about the possibility of using our combined knowledge and effort to improve the mobility and lives of the people of Barton.
But before we do all this, we need to gain a better understanding of the Barton community and how we should form a Mobility Community in Barton. Who are we? What should our objectives be? How should we collaborate? Answering these questions will be the focus of the Community Consultation Workshop. At the workshop, you will get an update on the Cities-4-People project, take part in a couple of activities, enjoy a dinner provided by Eatwell’s Café, and start planning on what we will be doing next. Our doors are wide open, and all who live or spend time in Barton are invited. Get involved, bring your neighbour, and have fun!
